In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country's most critical role – protecting our national security.Why Join Us?Innovative Projects: KBR's work is at the forefront of engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT and cybersecurity solutions.Collaborative Environment: Be part of a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and innovation, fostering a supportive and intellectually stimulating workplace.Impactful Work: Your contributions will be pivotal in designing, deploying, and securing mission-critical network infrastructure supporting national security operations.Key Responsibilities:Design, engineer, and deploy network solutions supporting mission requirementsProvide technical leadership and guidance across network and systems engineering teamsImplement secure collaboration and data protection technologiesSupport the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructureTroubleshoot and resolve complex network performance and connectivity issuesDevelop and maintain secure, highly available network architecturesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutionsSupport technology modernization and infrastructure enhancement initiativesWork Environment:Location: On-siteTravel Requirements: MinimalWorking Hours: StandardQualifications:Required:Active TS/SCI with PolygraphBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degreeRecent experience with Cisco Datacenter, WAN, LAN, and Client Access technologiesExperience with MACsec, HSRP, VRF, VPC, ACLs, BGP, and EIGRPExperience building, deploying, and maintaining Cisco ACI environmentsRecent experience with IOS-XE and NX-OSRecent experience supporting FTD and ASA firewalls and VPN concentratorsDemonstrated understanding of high-availability network technologiesDesired:Experience serving as a technical lead for network engineering teamsExperience with enterprise collaboration toolsExperience with ticketing and service management platformsExperience supporting intelligence community or DoD customersRelevant Cisco certificationsBasic Compensation:$172,900 to $211,400This range is for the Virginia area onlyThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
