Network Engineer (Datacenter Operations) Level IIGovCIO is currently hiring for Network Engineer (Datacenter Operations) Level II to support our NIH/CIT proposal. This position will be located in Bethesda, MD and is a remote/hybrid position.
Responsibilities include:Delivering optimal availability and quality regarding the network routing and switching, IP security, the wide area network servicesParticipating in daily stand ups and utilizing the kanban methodology to triage and resolve incidents and problems within established SLAsAs directed by senior engineers, participating in shift lead duties to serve as "queue managers" to ensure each escalated issue is efficiently assigned, actively being worked by expediting resolution and fulfillment to meet SLAsAssisting with proactive measures such as network monitoring, analysis, maintenance/patching, and documentationProviding suggestions to management on continuous improvements in regards to communications, customer understanding, tools, technology, and equipment.Qualifications: Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience) Required Skills and Experience include:5 years of relevant Network Services experience.Experience delivering optimal availability and quality regarding the network routing and switching, IP security, the wide area network servicesClearance Required: Must be able to obtain and maintain NIH/CIT Public Trust Preferred Skills and Experience include:CCNA/CCNP is desired.Experience with security is desiredPosted Salary Range USD $82,000.00 - USD $91,467.0Yr.
