Our client is currently seeking a Network Engineer for a long term contract
This is a hybrid role 3 days per week in Downtown Chicago
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Automate the management of data center networks using Cisco ACI
- Performs Preventative Maintenance tasks and creates, maintains, updates NOC support documentation
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches
- Support enterprise level complex network infrastructure to include LAN, WAN, data carriers, IPS, Firewall and related networking environments
- Participate in service management processes including but not limited to: incident management, major problem reviews, change management, and continual improvement
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of five-10 years managing medium to large LAN/WAN/WLAN/IPT technical teams is required
- SD WAN
- Experience working with Cisco NDFC
- automation skills python, ansible, experience with network automation
- Demonstrated experience with network services products – F5 Load Balancing, Bluecat DNS/DHCP/IPAM
pay rate: 65-75/hr
