Location: Remote But Candidate should reside in Charlotte, Jacksonville or Kennesaw, Georgia (suburb of Atlanta)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Overview:

The ideal candidate is someone who can deep-dive into M365, network design, proxy/firewall configurations , and collaborate closely with vendors like Microsoft to create compliant, scalable, and secure solutions—then document them in a way that implementation engineers can execute.

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to Design end-to-end technical solutions for M365 productivity services with a focus on network, firewall, proxy, and connectivity flows
• Willing to Work directly with Microsoft and other vendors to troubleshoot connectivity requirements and validate configurations in lab or lower-lane environments
• Strong enough to Identify and design firewall rules, proxy configurations, network load balancing, and F5 requirements for M365 integration
• Able to Determine proxy sizing , scalability, and performance considerations for enterprise environments
• Create detailed technical design documentation and hand off to the implementation team
• Able to Participate in problem-solving discussions and architecture calls; contribute design input while others handle execution
• Ensure all designs meet Bank security, compliance, and infrastructure standards

Ideal Background:

• Strong experience with M365 (pilot or production), Exchange Online , and productivity tools
• Deep knowledge of enterprise networking , including firewalls, proxies, F5 Load Balancers , and security architecture
• Proven ability to reverse-engineer and design solutions where vendor documentation is limited or vague
• Skilled at working in lab/test environments to prototype designs
• Strong communication and documentation skills; able to translate complex technical concepts into actionable implementation steps
• Prior experience in a financial services or highly regulated enterprise environment is a plus
