Network Deployment EngineerWe are supporting a large healthcare system as they roll out a major network hardware deployment across hospitals and care facilities throughout Wisconsin. We are hiring four Network Deployment Engineers to install, configure, and validate newly purchased network devices throughout the client's environment.This is a field-based role with frequent travel. All in-state travel costs (mileage, lodging, per diem) are fully covered.ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure enterprise network equipment, including wireless access points and access-layer switchesReplace legacy hardware with new devices across hospitals, clinics, and remote care facilitiesFollow existing network standards for VLANs, QoS, security settings, and controller-based wireless configurationPerform onsite surveys to confirm cabling, mounting, PoE readiness, and environmental requirementsDocument each installation with location notes, photos, and validation resultsCollaborate with the client's network team during cutovers and post-deployment checksTroubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate when neededProvide clear updates to project management on completed sites, timelines, and any risksMaintain a strong focus on safety and professionalism in clinical settingsRequired Experience3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise networkingStrong working knowledge of wireless access point installation and configuration (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, or similar)Experience mounting APs, validating signal, confirming switch port readiness, and following wireless design guidelinesExperience with switch provisioning, VLAN configuration, and general Layer 2 networkingComfortable working onsite in hospitals and clinical environmentsAbility to travel frequently within the state of WisconsinReliable transportation and valid driver's licensePreferred ExperiencePrevious work in healthcare settingsExperience with large-scale hardware refresh projectsFamiliarity with Ekahau or similar wireless toolsExperience working with remote network engineering teamsContract Details12-month contractTravel within Wisconsin is covered (mileage, lodging, per diem)Full-time hours, Monday through FridayCompetitive hourly rate
