Network Deployment EngineerLocation: Santa Clara, CADuration: 06-12+ Month Contract + extension and possibility of conversionPay Range: $75-$80/hr on W2, based on years of experience(USC and GC only on W2)Job Description:This role supports production-grade NPI (New Product Introduction) and Production Lab deployments, owning end-to-end execution for bringing up, expanding, and operating NPI infrastructure in Santa Clara, CA.The engineer partners closely with hardware, software, operations, and capacity planning teams to deliver reliable, production-parity lab environments.Required QualificationsHands-on experience delivering and troubleshooting network infrastructure in lab and/or production environmentsMinimum several years of relevant experience in:Network engineeringInfrastructure deploymentStrong knowledge of data center networking concepts and operational troubleshootingFamiliarity with a subset of the following (depth varies by focus area):DC fabric architectures (spine-leaf / Clos)Routing and switching fundamentalsBGP, EVPN/VXLAN, OSPFTelemetry-driven troubleshooting and incident responseHands-on experience with:IPv6, DHCPv6, SLAACOptical transceivers (SFP+, QSFP, OSFP)Cabling types (DAC, AEC/AES, fiber)Understanding of server architecture and hardware componentsStrong cross-functional coordination skillsClear written and verbal communicationWillingness and ability to work onsite in Santa Clara based on deployment schedulesFamiliarity with internal network management and provisioning tools (training provided if needed)
