Network Capacity Planner
Location: Richmond, VA
Pay: $80-85/hr
Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder; No Visa Sponsorship
No c2c or 3rd Party Candidates
Role is Hybrid; Candidates must be local/No Relocation
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to produce monthly and ad-hoc capacity reviews, proactively identifying network bottlenecks and risks
- Monitor implementation of approved capacity changes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute solutions
- Advise internal clients on best practices, evaluate business/technical requirements, and recommend technical solutions or process improvements
- Lead discussions on long-term solutions and present strategic guidance and outcomes to senior leadership
- Oversee initial development and integration of new processes, communicating changes across impacted teams
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 6–9+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of networking concepts, principles, and data analysis/data science
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to apply risk management principles to technical decision-making and achieve objectives within established industry standards
