Network ArchitectLocation: Dallas, TX (75% Remote) Duration: 10 Months Requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in network engineering and architecture, designing and managing complex network infrastructures that align with organizational goals. Needs current, relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, F5 Certified, Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer).Location: 75% remote. 25% travel (expenses covered) either to DFW or to California depending on needs.

Now and then the individual will need to work some on a weekend or at night. Please ensure candidates are flexible (they should be used to it). It is highly preferable that the candidate is located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to possibly attend meetings occasionally.Roles and Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage scalable network solutions for data center, Azure cloud, and hybrid environments, while maintaining multi-cloud capabilities with AWS and GCP.Develop and maintain hub/spoke network architectures to optimize performance and reliability across various cloud platforms.Collaborate with Application and Data teams to ensure that network designs meet application performance requirements and data flow needs.Lead and support a team of network engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Engage with clients to understand their networking needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring excellent client satisfaction.Conduct network environment reviews and provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades tailored to multi-cloud environments.Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to services.Alignment with current industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance network capabilities, particularly in Azure, multi-cloud, hybrid networking (physical and SDN).Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting complex concepts in an understandable manner.Requirements:15+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture, with a focus on data center, Azure cloud, and hybrid networking.Proven experience in designing and implementing hub/spoke network architectures.Proficiency in designing and deploying highly resilient and disaster recovery failover enabled multi-region cloud networking solutionsStrong expertise in Cisco networking technologies (e.g., routers, switches).Proficiency in F5 load balancers and application delivery controllers.Proficiency in designing and deploying cloud native load balancing solutions such as Azure Load Balancer and App GatewayIn-depth knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions.

Proficiency in analyzing on-prem rules / policies for internal / external traffic and design future state rules, SNAT / DNAT etc. for secure connectivity of cloud hosted workloads.Experience with Azure networking solutions, including Virtual Networks, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute. Proficiency in network segmentation design for logical separation of application workloads while enabling network (CIDR / VLAN) scalability for future growth.Familiarity with multi-cloud networking solutions and best practices for AWS and GCP.Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and network security best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, F5 Certified, Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer).
