Role Overview

We are seeking senior Network Architects with deep experience designing and engineering enterprise-scale DMZ environments . These architects will help design and implement a modern, state-of-the-art DMZ environment, with one position focused heavily on Arista Fabric and another focused on public cloud integration .

Must-Have Qualifications

• 10+ years of network engineering and architecture experience , with a significant portion focused on DMZ architecture and enterprise perimeter environments
• Strong experience designing, implementing, enhancing, upgrading, or migrating large-scale enterprise network environments
• Arista Fabric experience — required, particularly for the DMZ architecture/buildout
• Experience integrating enterprise network infrastructure with at least one major public cloud platform:
• AWS
• GCP
• Very strong Cisco routing and switching expertise
• Experience with Cisco Nexus and enterprise data center networking
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network architecture/design principles
• Experience with a broad range of enterprise networking technologies, including as many of the following as possible:
• Arista Fabric
• Fortinet
• F5
• SDN
• OSPF
• BGP
• VLANs
• PKI
• QoS
• VRRP / FHRP
• MPLS
• DDoS protection tools such as Arbor and Prolexic/Akamai
• Experience working within a large enterprise environment.
• Strong architecture documentation, technical design, troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication skills

Position Focus

Network Architect – Arista DMZ

• Strong Arista Fabric background
• Cisco routing/switching and data center networking
• Design and implementation of the new enterprise DMZ environment
• Public cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience integrating enterprise DMZ/network architecture with public cloud platforms
• Strong Cisco routing/switching and data center networking background

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or financial services experience
• Programming or scripting experience
• Experience with highly regulated, security-sensitive enterprise environments
• Experience with large-scale network transformation or modernization initiatives
• Experience with DDoS mitigation, F5/load balancing, and advanced perimeter security architectures
