Network ArchitectLocation: 1401 E Broad St, Richmond, VA 23219Hybrid schedule for this role is mostly full-time remote work with quarterly in-person meetings with leaders.The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Information Technology Division (ITD) is seeking a Network Architect to join the VDOT Enterprise Architecture team. This individual will work with key members focusing on strategic planning, design, and the long-term vision, ensuring network solution align with the organization. All computer networks need to be configured in such a way that all end users can securely and efficiently access the applications, data, and tools, this also involves implementing the network to meet rigorous security standards alongside installing and configuring hardware elements.
Candidates must be able to provide documentation throughout the design and deployment process as a reference for future network enhancements or maintenance.
