This role handles the administration of the networks for two data centers, our Home Office campus, and branch offices. A bachelor's degree in a computer-related field with a focus in Networking Systems or equivalent experience is required.Responsibilities include:Troubleshooting any network equipment or connection issues (Routers, Layer 2 and 3 switches, WAN acceleration devices, firewalls, etc)Planning, coordinating, and implementing network equipment upgradesBeing the point of contact for contracted companies that are servicing our remote branchesAbility to convey ideas to multiple audiencesProvide proposals and recommendations for network enhancementsOccasional maintenance or upgrades that fall outside of normal business hours are requiredAdministration of voice systemsDesired Skills and ExperienceExperience with any of the following: IOSNX-OSDynamic Routing Protocols (including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP)Data Center knowledge (including VDC, VPC, Port-Channeling, HSRP, Spanning Tree, etc.)VoIP Phone System (PRI, SIP, CUBE)Communications Collaboration Product Suites (Voicemail, Instant Messaging)Firewalls, including IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) and IDS (Intrusion Detection System)WAN (Wide Area Network) acceleration devicesTACACS (Terminal Access Controller Access Control System)NAC (Network Access Control)Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure)Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)Network administration certifications or equivalent work experience is strongly preferredGreat customer service skillsEffective communication and coordination skillsSelf-motivating individual with a proven history of growing technical skillsBenefitsAuto-Owners offers a wide range of career opportunities, and we are seeking talent that will help us continue our long tradition of success.
