Network AdministratorThe Centralized Network Operations Center (C-NOC) Network Administrator will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for the Air Force's MQ-9 communications system and global network architectures. As a key member of the C-NOC team, you will be responsible for monitoring network health, performing initial troubleshooting, and resolving or escalating network incidents. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational availability of critical network infrastructure, supporting a 24/7 operations center.

You will work closely with and support Senior Network Engineers to ensure the stability and integrity of the network.Responsibilities:Act as a primary point of contact for network-related issues within the C-NOC.Monitor network performance, integrity, and security using tools such as SolarWindsPerform initial triage and troubleshooting for network outages and performance issues.Document all incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.Escalate unresolved and complex issues to Senior Network Engineers in a timely manner.Assist with basic network administration tasks, including managing device configurations and user access under supervision.Support the execution of planned network maintenance, software upgrades, and preventive maintenance checks.Help maintain accurate network diagrams and documentation.Interface with users and stakeholders to report on status and resolve issues.Follow established procedures for network operations and incident management.Minimum Qualifications:1-3 years of experience in network administration, network support, or a technical help desk role.CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent certification is required. Network+ is highly desired.Foundational knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF protocols, layer 2 switching, multicast routing, DMVPN tunnels, and IPsec.Experience with network monitoring tools and an understanding how to update and connect new devices in those tools via SNMP.Familiarity with how to monitor, interface, or configure High Assurance IP Encryptor (HAIPE) devices.Strong ability to communicate technical issues clearly, provide step-by-step instructions, and maintain accurate documentation.Customer-focused with the ability to de-escalate situations and work collaboratively within a team.Must be a U.S. citizen.Must have an active TS/SCI US Government clearance.

Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.Ability to lift, carry, and install equipment weighing about 30 lbs.Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:This position supports a 24/7 Network Operations Center. Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, will be required. Work may include on-call responsibilities to support mission priorities.Compensation Details:$90,000 - $98,000The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
