Network Security Administrator IIIINODE is a leading information technology (IT) professional services Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) specializing in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, business intelligence, and data science services for federal, state and local organizations. We are seeking an experienced Network Security Administrator III to lead the management, configuration, and optimization of boundary network devices such as firewalls, routers, and switches in support of the USAF on an IT Support Services contract. The Network Security Administrator III will provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues to ensure robust and secure network perimeter operations.

This is a salaried position, full-time, onsite at the JBSA Lackland AFB.Job Requirements:Must be a US CitizenActive DoD Top Secret ClearanceActive IAT Level II or higher certificationAvailable to work onsite Monday-Friday Swing Shift 15:00-23:00 CTLead the management, configuration, and optimization of boundary network devices such as firewalls, routers, and switchesPerform as a SME in Palo Alto technologiesProvide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues to ensure robust and secure network perimeter operationsOversee the monitoring and assessment of boundary network traffic for potential security threatsEnsure rigorous compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements by conducting detailed security audits and maintaining comprehensive documentation of network configurations and security measuresInstall, monitor, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, patch, harden, maintain, and operate intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, load balancers, and web proxies to protect AFNet resources from both internal and external threats according to DoD security standardsPerform complex analytics on boundary protection systems to protect system assets from compromise, data loss, and other requirementsPerform DCO and DODIN operationsEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or GED7+ years of experience in network administration5+ years of experience with network security3+ years of experience with Palo Alto routersPalo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) certification or modern equivalent (Network Security Professional OR Next-Generation Firewall Engineer requiredActive CompTIA Security+ CE Certification or higher requiredExperience with enterprise DOD boundary protection and CSSP operationsAble to assess infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutionsExperience with network monitoring and management using an automated solutionExtensive experience with security as it pertains to network architecture, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems (IDS)Solid customer service and communication skills are critical as well as the ability and willingness to communicate effectively and appropriately in an empathetic and understanding mannerHigh attention to detailSuperb documentation skillsSelf-motivated to continuously grow skillset and stay at the forefront of technology evolutionAt INODE, we know that employees who are valued, involved, and both encouraged and supported to grow are what drives our success.
