We are actively seeking passionate, collaborative, energetic, and forward-thinking individuals to join our team.CesiumAstro is seeking a Network Administrator II to join our 2nd or 3rd shift. In this role, you will support network infrastructure and communications systems associated with the Element 1 Launch Operations Program. This role is responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing network environments that support engineering, integration, testing, mission operations, and launch activities.The ideal candidate is a proactive and technically capable network professional with experience supporting operational infrastructure in mission-critical environments.

This position works closely with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, mission operations, and engineering teams to ensure network stability, security, and operational readiness across launch and ground support systems.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesConfigure, administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise and operational network infrastructure supporting Element 1 launch operationsSupport switches, routers, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and network security appliancesMonitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable operational supportTroubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and infrastructure-related issues across operational and engineering environmentsSupport implementation and maintenance of VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols, and access control configurationsSupport network infrastructure associated with launch operations, integration labs, mission operations, and testing environmentsAssist with network provisioning, hardware deployments, cable management, and infrastructure upgradesCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to support network security, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiativesParticipate in incident response and operational troubleshooting activities during critical mission and launch support windowsSupport business continuity and disaster recovery planning activities related to network operationsMaintain accurate network diagrams, infrastructure documentation, configuration records, and operational proceduresAssist with implementation of infrastructure improvements focused on reliability, scalability, and operational efficiencySupport network audits, compliance reviews, and cybersecurity assessmentsRecommend process improvements and infrastructure enhancements based on operational needs and performance trendsPerform other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned to support business operations, organizational objectives, and evolving Element 1 program needsJob Requirements and Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.2–5 years of professional experience in network administration or network operations.Experience administering enterprise networking environments and supporting operational infrastructure.Working knowledge of: Enterprise networking technologies (Fortinet preferred or equivalent platforms)Firewall and network security solutionsVPN and remote access technologiesNetwork monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting toolsRouting, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, and network segmentationTicketing systems and infrastructure management platformsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve network connectivity, hardware, and software issues.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams.Preferred ExperienceExperience supporting aerospace, defense, manufacturing, mission operations, or other highly regulated operational environments.Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, compliance requirements, and vulnerability management processes.Experience supporting 24/7 operations or shift-based environments.$94,000 - $112,000 a yearCesiumAstro considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
