Network Administrator / Associate IT Support Technician

Location: Honolulu, HI – Onsite

Duration: 12 Months

Rate: $32.07/hr

This onsite opportunity in Honolulu, HI is with an established enterprise environment seeking a Network Administrator / Associate IT Support Technician to support LAN, wireless, WAN, and voice/data network infrastructure. The role is a 12-month contract focused heavily on network hardware, switches, IP phones, telephony equipment, and Level 1 technical support.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on networking experience while supporting a large-scale enterprise environment. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of network and telephony technologies while working directly with switches, IP phones, routers, wireless equipment, servers, and network diagnostic tools. The position offers an excellent environment to strengthen foundational networking skills and gain practical experience troubleshooting real-world infrastructure.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

· Experience working with network switches and related hardware

· Hands-on experience with IP phones, telephony equipment, and hardware

· Experience providing Level 1 technical support and troubleshooting

· Understanding of LAN, wireless, WAN, voice, and data networks

· Ability to troubleshoot basic network and telephony issues

· Experience installing, maintaining, or supporting network equipment

Desired Skills & Experience

· Experience with routers, LAN switches, wireless equipment, and servers

· Familiarity with network management and diagnostic tools

· Experience assisting with network maintenance and system upgrades

· Familiarity with service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations

· Experience with basic IT equipment inventory management

· Familiarity with Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes and equipment tracking
