NetSuite Technical Analyst

Salary: $60,000 - 85,000 per year

• Hands-on experience writing JavaScript or another programming language through coursework, personal projects, or prior work, with the ability to explain something you have built
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including cleaning and manipulating large datasets
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a logical, results-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Clear written communication and the ability to collaborate with teammates across functions
• Eagerness to learn new technologies quickly
• Preferred: Experience with NetSuite or another ERP system as an administrator, developer, or power user
• Preferred: Exposure to SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, or Advanced PDF templates (FreeMarker)
• Preferred: Knowledge of SQL
• Preferred: Familiarity with software development practices such as version control and testing
• Preferred: Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or accounting environments
• Preferred: Bachelors degree in a technical, business, or related field

• Complete configuration and development tasks assigned by the project team, including custom records and fields, workflows, saved searches, reports, and dashboards
• Write and maintain SuiteScript—including client, user event, scheduled, and Map/Reduce scripts—with guidance from senior developers, taking on more independent work over time
• Build and edit Advanced PDF/HTML templates for documents such as quotes, sales orders, invoices, packing slips, and work orders
• Test and review your own work and teammates work against requirements, document findings, and resolve issues
• Manage data migration for go-lives by preparing import templates, cleansing data with the functional consultant, running CSV imports, and reconciling results
• Clarify tasks and requirements with the functional consultant when they are unclear or do not fit the system well
• Document solutions clearly so the team can maintain them, and track time accurately

We are SuiteDynamics, a Madison, Wisconsin-based NetSuite Alliance Partner specializing in end-to-end ERP implementations for mid-sized manufacturers. We also provide post-go-live support, optimization, and managed services, and develop our own NetSuite products. This is a full-time Technical Analyst position on our implementation teams, with a base pay range of $60,000–$85,000 per year. The role is not client-facing and is based in Madison, with an in-office requirement for training and onboarding unless you have previous NetSuite experience; the listed work location is hybrid remote in Madison, WI.
