Location: Remote (U.S.) with possible occasional on-site day during discovery in Rockville, MD

Focus on candidates with strong NetSuite development, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, AP automation, Bill Capture, and 3-Way Match experience.

Activate and configure the NetSuite 3-Way Match SuiteApp — Advanced Receiving prerequisite check, tolerance bands by vendor and category, exception routing, and parallel testing against historical vendor bills.

Build SuiteFlow workflows: dual-approval vendor master change control for bank, address and TIN changes with automated alerts; vendor onboarding enforcing W-9/TIN and screening evidence; and a period-close checklist workflow.

Enable and configure NetSuite Bill Capture — dedicated intake address, coding suggestions from historical GL patterns, and auto-approve versus exception queue tiers.

Build SuiteAnalytics saved searches for duplicate detection sweeps, anomaly monitoring, AP-to-GL tie-out, unreconciled-item flagging, and accrual estimation.

Build the integration carrying Claude-extracted invoice data into NetSuite, working alongside the AI Implementation Engineer.

Configure email-based approval notifications allowing approve/reject without logging into NetSuite, with authentication handling that satisfies delegation-of-authority evidence requirements.

Submit and shepherd NetSuite sandbox and SSO/SAML access requests during mobilization, then hold the client's IT team to the provisioning dates the schedule depends on.

Manage the promotion path from sandbox to production using SDF or SuiteBundler; support go-live and 60-day hypercare.

Automate recurring AP and finance reports and build leadership dashboards in the later phase.

What you need:

• 5+ years hands-on NetSuite development including production work you personally built and supported.

• Deep SuiteScript 2.x/2.1: User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet and RESTlet script types.

• SuiteFlow workflow configuration and SuiteAnalytics saved search development.

• Direct experience with NetSuite AP and procure-to-pay records — vendor bills, PO matching, approval routing, GL segmentation.

• Hands-on activation of 3-Way Match and Bill Capture, or demonstrably equivalent controls configuration experience.

• Sandbox-to-production deployment discipline using SDF, SuiteBundler, or an equivalent controlled promotion process.

• SSO/SAML configuration and role-based permission design in NetSuite.

• Two references from NetSuite implementation or administration engagements, finance or AP scope preferred.

• SuiteFoundation and/or SuiteCloud Developer II certification (verified at screen) is a huge plus.

• OneWorld / multi-subsidiary experience, especially onboarding an acquired entity.

• Prior integration of an OCR, document capture, or AI extraction platform into NetSuite AP.

• SOX or audit-evidence work — this engagement produces auditor-verifiable control evidence.

• Comfort working alongside AI engineers who are not NetSuite specialists.
