NET Software Developer (Angular / C#) - Tallahassee, FloridaThe Florida Senate Office of Information Technology is hiring.NET Software Developers to help build and support modern applications used across the Senate organization. Our team develops internal systems using technologies such as.NET, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps in a collaborative development environment focused on delivering practical solutions. Senate IT offers the opportunity to work on meaningful engineering challenges while maintaining a healthy work-life balance within a supportive team environment.

This position is based in Tallahassee, Florida and requires on-site work.Financial Disclosure: Pursuant to sections and , F.S., this position is required to electronically file a Form 1 –Statement of Financial Interests with the Florida Commission on Ethics within 30 days of hire.Examples of Work PerformedDesign, develop, test, and maintain applications using.NET and AngularDevelop and enhance internal web applications supporting organizational business processesDesign and implement APIs supporting internal systems and integrationsDevelop responsive user interfaces using Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScriptWork with SQL Server databases to design and optimize queriesTroubleshoot and resolve application issuesParticipate in code reviews and collaborative development activitiesKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesNET application developmentAngular or similar modern web frameworksHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScriptRelational database concepts and SQL developmentTroubleshooting and debugging application issuesCollaborative software development practicesMinimum QualificationsA bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or engineering and two years of progressively responsible information systems experience. Progressively responsible information systems experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Any combination of progressively responsible information systems experience and post-secondary training in disciplines as described above totaling six years.Preferred QualificationsExperience with ASP.NET Core or modern .NET developmentExperience with Angular or similar frameworks (React, Blazor)Experience developing REST APIs and data-driven applicationsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools such as Visual Studio and Azure DevOpsExperience working in Agile or Scrum environmentsCandidates who do not meet every preferred qualification but have relevant experience are encouraged to apply.SalaryAnticipated hiring salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on qualifications and level of experience.
