Net Developer (with Java Experience)St. Paul, MN (Hybrid with a minimum of 2 days in the office)2 years Contract with possibility to extensionThe Client is seeking a full-time.Net developer to support multiple technical initiatives including, but not limited to: the BioID system, Criminal History System, Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS), LiveScan, Minnesota Repository of Arrest Photos (MRAP), Rapid ID, AFIS Workload Reporting, Archive Service, Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) and future MNJIS technical initiatives, as needed.At a high level, the resource will build, deploy and test software applications and modules using automated test and deployment technologies and tools.Provide direction in identifying appropriate technical solutions (application and system level) that meets business objectives, which include defining technical alternatives to derive the most cost-effective solutions to meet client requirements.Tasks:Work with planning managers, architects, business analysts, quality assurance analysts and agencies to define and transform business requirements into technical design and programming specifications conforming to the system architecture.Implement enterprise solutions following established BCA patterns in application development and data security.Build, deploy and test software applications and modules using automated test and deployment technologies and tools.Provide direction in identifying appropriate technical solutions (application and system level) that meets business objectives, which include defining technical alternatives to derive the most cost-effective solutions to meet client requirements.Review test cases and test plans in conjunction with quality assurance staff.Execute unit and integration testing procedures.Minimum Qualifications:Seven years of experience developing ASP .NET MVC applications with C#Five years of experience developing in XQueryThree years of experience developing with JavaDesired Skills:Experience using Entity FrameworkExperience writing T-SQL for MS SQL ServerExperience working with MarkLogicExperience within an Agile Scrum development teamExperience in development of Windows Services using .NET 4.0 or aboveExperience using XML schemasExperience using XSLTExperience using SOAP and REST web servicesExperience using Web APIExperience with DevOps incorporating automation for CI/CD pipelinesExperience using GradleExperience working with front-end JavaScript libraries, especially Bootstrap 4/5 and jQueryExperience with GitLabExperience working with performance and availability tools such as New RelicExperience working with and remediating scans from SAST and DAST toolsExperience using HTMLExperience using CSSExperience using JavaScriptExperience with JunitKnowledge of Domain Driven Design conceptsExperience working with law enforcement or criminal justice systemsMode of Interview:The State will conduct interviews.
