The effort will focus on all major global asset classes including, but not limited to Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities and Options/Volatility.The Contract Developer reports to the Director of Software Engineering and is a member of the Information Technology team.Responsibilities:Design, develop, unit test, implement, and support solutions (applications, reporting, integration) to support the multi asset class initial rollout.
Specifically build out of various master data solutions (data store, integration and user interfaces to manage the data, exceptions, etc).Build integration solutions leveraging SSIS for batch integration and IBM MQ /.NET (C#) for real-time based integrationBuild reporting solutions leveraging SSRS and .NETWork with the team to design appropriate data models for strategic data stores in the area of Account Master, Broker / Custodian Master, and Position MasterQualifications:5+ years experience in the asset management business, ideally with a buy-side multi-asset focus5+ years experience delivering software as part of an agile delivery teamSpecific expertise integrating front office information with Performance systems for Total Return Performance and GIPS Composite information; BiSam preferredSpecific expertise integrating front office information with Accounting systems/providers; SS&C GlobeOp / Advent Geneva preferredExperience implementing solutions with the following security types: Equities, ETFs, Futures, Options, Structured Notes, FX, Total Return Swaps, Interest Rates Swaps, and Volatility SwapsExpert knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, and the.NET Framework; Strong database engineering skills on the MS SQL server platformSolid knowledge of enterprise data management design and development principalsSolid knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts, and practicesOutstanding analytical and quantitative skills
