team, youll be building the platform that IT and Security teams rely on to discover, govern, and optimize their AI and SaaS ecosystems (work that just earned 1Password recognition as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for SaaS Management Platforms). Youll work on real problems: uncontrolled AI spend, shadow IT, SaaS sprawl, and the complex access lifecycles that come with it. As we scale the platform to meet our enterprise-scale ambitions, youll help shape not just what we build, but how we build it.
We are looking for an Intermediate Developer who is energized by doing meaningful work, growing fast, and building great software alongside great humans. This is a role for someone with a solid technical foundation who knows how they learn, takes real ownership of their work, and is ready to make an impact from day one.
How we’re using AI today
Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
You have 2–4 years of professional software development experience with some knowledge of .NET/C# and exposure to MongoDB or a comparable document database
You know how you learn, and you learn quickly: youre comfortable picking up new concepts, technologies, and codebases, and you dont need everything handed to you before you can get started
You write clean, well-tested, well-documented code and you understand why those things matter in a production environment
Youre curious about how agentic AI tools fit into your own development workflow and you use them thoughtfully
Bonus points for:
NET/C#, MongoDB, Go, Rust, TypeScript, React, and others); you evaluate technology on its merits for the problem at hand, not personal preference, and you pick up new languages quickly
Deliver features and improvements on the SaaS Manager platform
Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand the customer problems behind your work and advocate for good outcomes within your scope
The annual base salary for this role is between $123,000 USD and $172,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Passwords benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
