Remote Contract General

NET DeveloperOur client is looking for a .NET Developer for a year long contract with possibility of extension. This role will be onsite in Sacramento, CA with possible remote work available (up to 2 days a week).Our client's team is looking for a well-rounded contract developer to work on several projects. We have enhancement work and new product development scheduled over the next 6-12 months.

Assignments will be based on the experience of the selected candidate. Some projects that may be assigned include: Analyze data and create a utility to import that data into an existing system, create a utility to purge records from a document repository, and update a variety of applications to use SSL.Required Technical Skills and ExperienceExpert level.NET Framework, VB, C#, Visual Studio, JavaScript, TypeScriptExperience creating APIs, command line utilities, and user interfacesExtensive knowledge of and experience with SQL Server development, including intermediate to advanced skill in Transact SQLExtensive, recent experience with a distributed source control system, preferably GitExperience working with modern security authentication managers and protocols such as SAML / OAuth / Certificate Authorization.Optional - Experience with Angular and .NET Core.Optional - Understands Single Page Application Architecture.Position DescriptionPerforms with distinction as a well-rounded software developerDevelops new features in a complex, object oriented, multi-tier or Web applicationsTranslates business requirements and established architectural patterns into detailed designs.Develops enhancements and support services on existing code and understands the customer business process to troubleshoot reported problems.Performs all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Functional RequirementsProficient at gathering, documenting, and clarifying software requirementsAble to work with minimal supervision to deliver a quality software product on time and on budgetAble to work independently or in a team environmentPossesses clear, concise verbal and written communication skillsMaintains a positive, can-do attitudePossesses a high regard for customer satisfactionMaintains excellent reliability and attendance habitsWilling to work on site in downtown Sacramento.
