.NET / C# Developer – Senior.NET / C# Developer – Senior Position / LCAT: .NET / C# Developer Level: Senior Location: Fort Belvoir, VAProvides application development for a Microsoft-oriented enterprise environment, including MS.NET, C#, MVC 4+, and Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server web development, in support of custom in-house developed web applications. Develops, tests, and deploys software within a DEVSECOPS operating environment across multiple supported networks, adhering to Agile, SCRUM, and Lean methodologies. Collaborates with peers to review code, ensures best practices and coding standards are followed, and uses Azure DevOps for code changes and version controls.Provide application development for a Microsoft-oriented enterprise environment, including MS.NET, C#, MVC 4+, and Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server web developmentCollaborate with peers to review code to ensure best practices, team norms, and coding standards are followedProvide web development and version control for a Microsoft-oriented enterprise environment using Government-provided tools (Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 and later, Azure DevOps and later)Estimate the level of effort required for all design, development, deployment, and testing and provide information to the CORParticipate in an iterative development team through all facets, including sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, reviews, and retrospectivesDevelop documentation including test plans, end-user documentation, wireframes, mockups, Use Case Diagrams, and flowcharts; store all documentation in identified Government document repositoriesUse Azure DevOps (ADO) for all code changes and version controlsCreate and update test plans and record results within developer documentationCollaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to mitigate all findings identified during testingBuild fully deployable packages for development, staging, integration, and production environments and submit deployment requests for approvalUse all approved Government-provided templates for required documentation and ensure all development-related documents are stored in a single document repositoryLeverage advanced programming skills to develop and incorporate mandatory fields of the DNI Audit.XML specification in accordance with ICS-500-27 Collection and Sharing of Audit DataAdhere to software development methods including Agile, SCRUM, and LeanProvide project status reports to the Government at all stages of the project lifecycle as requiredUtilize Azure DevOps to record and report bugs to Quality Assurance, project managers, and other stakeholdersEnsure SOPs, "How To" guides, testing plans, and accreditation paperwork are complete for each applicationIndividuals not performing at a Government facility and not TS/SCI cleared shall write code in an unclassified environment and provide the code to contractor developers working at a Government facility with TS/SCI clearance for integration into integration and production environmentsEight years of experience in.NET Development (including MS.NET, C#, MVC 4+, and Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server web development)Five years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle Process (SDLC)Five years of experience with software development Unit Testing, System Testing, Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing, or other development testing experienceFive years of experience in SQL database development stored proceduresFive years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and proceduresFive years of experience documenting software defects using a bug tracking system and reporting defects to software developers and project managersTS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearanceDoD IAT Level II / Intermediate certificationExperience with Agile, SCRUM, and Lean software development methodologiesExperience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 and later, and Azure DevOpsNorth Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country's most crucial missions!
