Providing expert-level support for the Tenable Nessus vulnerability management platform, the full-time Nessus Subject Matter Expert will ensure accurate scanning, risk prioritization, and remediation guidance for client systems in a fully remote capacity. Key responsibilities Review and enhance scanning architecture and integrate with other cybersecurity tools Develop scanning strategies for enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments, along with custom reports and dashboards Stay updated on Tenable/Nessus developments and support scanning and troubleshooting activities Required qualifications 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years as a Nessus SME Expert knowledge of vulnerability management processes and the Tenable tool suite Experience integrating Nessus with enterprise SIEM/CDM platforms Familiarity with RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and federal vulnerability management requirements Active Secret clearance required
