Nephrology Medical Director

This role involves providing comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic kidney conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across inpatient and outpatient settings. • Multispecialty group setting.
• Current team includes 1 Nurse Practitioner and support staff.
• Clinic is located within a 3-minute walk of the inpatient hospital floors and can be accessed by a skybridge.
• Epic electronic medical record and good clinical support staffing structures.
• Standalone, financially stable, not-for-profit health system.
• Regional tertiary center with robust specialty support including neurosurgery, pulmonology, neurology, endocrinology, rheumatology, advanced gastroenterology, cardiothoracic, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic kidney conditions.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Practice all aspects of nephrology including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and CRRT.
• Work closely with hospitalists, intensivists, interventional radiologists, and other specialists to manage complex cases.
• Teach and mentor internal medicine residents and medical students.

Shift & Schedule
