This role involves a 24-hour call schedule from 7 AM to 7 AM, focusing on the management of dialysis patients and providing essential inpatient rounding and consultations. Our client is looking for coverage for a specific Thanksgiving period with potential for future sporadic needs.
Practice Info

- Primarily inpatient setting
- Average 8 patients per day
- Full support staff, including Hospitalists, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient rounding and consultations.
- Manage dialysis patients, including Hemodialysis, CRRT, and Peritoneal dialysis.
- Oversee post-renal transplant patients.
- Perform renal biopsies.
- Execute hemodialysis catheter placement.
- Perform peritoneal dialysis catheter placement.
