- Lead and deliver comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU with a 35-bed capacity
- Manage a high-acuity patient population, with an average daily census of 25-29 infants
- Support approximately 370-400 NICU admissions and 3,400-3,900 deliveries annually
- Perform advanced neonatal procedures including high-frequency ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia
- Participate in well-baby rounds part-time in collaboration with family medicine residents
- Collaborate with a team of four Neonatologists on rotating coverage
- Engage in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment including 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage
- Coordinate with pediatric subspecialists such as cardiology, surgery, ophthalmology, and maternal-fetal medicine
- Provide leadership in evidence-based, family-centered neonatal care within a regional referral center
Required:
- Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship completion and eligibility for boards
- South Carolina medical license or eligibility
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care
Preferred:
- Relevant experience in high-acuity NICU settings
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
