What You ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive neonatal care within a state-of-the-art 70-bed Level III NICU
- Manage critically ill and premature newborns requiring advanced therapies like high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and total body cooling
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurse practitioners, pediatric subspecialists, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists
- Participate in an attractive rounding and shared call schedule
- Educate and mentor pediatric residents and medical students
- Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based neonatal practices
- Work within a modern NICU environment dedicated to family-centered care
What You Need:
- Medical license in Georgia, Board certification or eligibility in Neonatology
- Prior NICU experience preferred
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
About the Assignment:
This full-time position is based at a leading facility in Macon, GA, featuring a new NICU opened in 2019. The role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional growth, academic collaboration, and a balanced quality of life outside Atlanta. Relocation may be required.
