- Board-Certified Neonatologist
- Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship training
- Active Mississippi license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
- Current PALS
- Current Level III NICU competency
- Invasive and noninvasive neonatal ventilation experience
- Ability to cover the full September 14 Äì18 block Clinical Details
- Manage acute and chronic neonatal ventilation
- Perform newborn intubation and airway stabilization
- Manage CPAP, BiPAP, and inhaled nitric oxide
- Attend high-risk cesarean deliveries
- Place central, arterial, umbilical venous, and umbilical arterial lines
- Perform lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
- Insert chest tubes and perform needle decompression
- Perform exchange transfusions
- Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood-pressure issues
- Interpret neonatal X-rays and EKGs
- Round on assigned and unassigned patients
- No APP, resident, or teaching supervision responsibilities
