Neonatologist Position - Yuma, AZ

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Neonatologist to join our team at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona—conveniently located just a short drive from San Diego, California. • 19‑bed High Level II Equivalent (Level II EQ) NICU caring for neonates as early as 28 weeks gestation
• Average daily census of 11–13 infants, supporting a manageable and patient‑focused practice
• 24/7 in‑house neonatologist coverage, promoting continuity of care and clinical excellence
• Neonatologists attend high‑risk deliveries for infants <35 weeks gestation or as clinically indicated
• Exposure to advanced clinical care and technologies, including ECMO, high‑frequency jet ventilation (HFJV), oscillator ventilation, and participation in clinical research

Responsibilities

The neonatal team at Yuma Regional Medical Center will provide comprehensive neonatal care, including the following responsibilities:

• 24/7 neonatal coverage and patient management
• Attend high‑risk deliveries for infants <35 weeks gestation
• Participate in clinical research and advanced technologies such as ECMO and HFJV
• Collaborate with a physician‑led network of 28 neonatologists, 42 neonatal nurse practitioners, and 2 physician assistants to provide coordinated neonatal services across Arizona

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neonatology
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and fostering a collaborative team environment
• Ability to obtain AZ licensure
