This role involves providing comprehensive neonatal care within a 25-bed Level III NICU and newborn nursery. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team focused on evidence-based protocols and specialized care for premature infants.

- Staffing Model: 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
- 2.3 mid-level providers covering NICU during the day
- 1.5 mid-level providers covering the newborn nursery during daytime hours
- Wellington Regional Medical Center is a 233-bed acute care hospital
- Advanced neonatal intensive care through a 25-bed Level III NICU
- Focus on evidence-based protocols and specialized care for 23-30 week premature infants
Responsibilities
- Care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery
- Attend high-risk deliveries
- Oversee daily responsibilities in the nursery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
