Neonatologist

Overview

Pediatrix Neonatology of Houston, an affiliate of Pediatrix Medical Group, is seeking a Neonatologist to join our growing practice at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake Hospital.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an Neonatologist who want to be a part of a collaborative and cohesive group of Neonatologists and NNP's.

• 50-bed, Level III NICU with an average daily census of approximately 25 patients
• In addition to in-house Neonatologists, there are also MFM, OB and Newborn hospitalists for on-site support.
• Over 4,000 deliveries per year; 550 NICU admissions per year, 40+ of which are VLBW.
• Full complement of pediatric subspecialists including pediatric surgery, cardiology, neurology/neurosurgery, plastics, urology, ENT, orthopedics, GI, ID and wound care.
• On site therapeutic hypothermia, and a full range of ventilation therapies including iNO, conventional ventilation, HFOV and HFJV.
• Active research program with multi-site collaborations.
• NNPs work 24-hour shifts with in-house neonatologist support .
• Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
