Neonatologist

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - San Marcos, in partnership with Pediatrix Medical Group, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to join their growing practice in San Marcos, Texas. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality newborn care within a Level II NICU, supported by a collaborative national neonatal network. Physicians will benefit from access to advanced neonatal support and seamless transfers to a Level IV NICU in San Antonio.

• Practice located in San Marcos, Texas, between Austin and San Antonio
• CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - San Marcos operates an on-site 6-bed Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• NICU ADC of 2
• Level II Maternal Care Facility supporting 750 deliveries/year
• Newborn ADC of 6
• Access to CHRISTUS Children's Level IV NICU in San Antonio for advanced neonatal support and seamless transfers

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage in a Level II NICU
• Attend high-risk deliveries, C-sections, newborn resuscitations
• Provide neonatal consultation services
• Opportunity to moonlight in level II-IV NICUs with Pediatrix in Austin
