Responsibilities
- Provide neonatal care as part of a Level III NICU team at Good Samaritan Hospital, covering an average daily census of 18‑20 infants with 40–50 very low birth weight admissions per year.
- Collaborate with two attending neonatologists during day shifts, Maternal‑Fetal Medicine specialists, Obstetric Hospitalists, and pediatric subspecialty teams including pediatric surgery.
- Participate in high‑frequency ventilation, body cooling, and inhaled nitric oxide therapy.
- Lead and support an active maternal and neonatal transport program.
- Engage in quality‑improvement initiatives as part of the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative and the hospital’s pediatric QI programs.

- Base compensation: $325,000–$425,000 with bonus potential
