Practice Info
- Team approach toward care in a 100-bed, Level-IV NICU
- Average daily census of 90, with 1,500 admissions and more than 10,000 deliveries annually
- Neonatologists and NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house care
- Challenging clinical environment including conventional and high-frequency (both HFJV and HFOV) ventilation, nitric oxide and whole body cooling
- Close collaboration with a full complement of pediatric sub-specialists, including pediatric surgery, in a suburban Children's Hospital environment
- Neonatal services also provided at two nearby Level-II NICUs with NNPs in-house 24 hours and neonatologists taking call from home
