Neonatologist

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to join a thriving and collaborative team in Columbia, South Carolina. The clinician will provide comprehensive neonatal care across Prisma Health Richland, Prisma Health Baptist Medical Center, and Lexington Medical Center. This full-time opportunity allows physicians to work within a regional referral network supported by advanced services and a dedicated team of pediatric subspecialists.

• High-acuity, collegial practice
• Prisma Health Richland Regional perinatal center serving 16 counties across the Midlands of South Carolina
• Prisma Health Richland 70-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of 62
• Prisma Health Baptist Medical Center 26-bed private-room Level III NICU
• Lexington Medical Center 20-bed private Level II NICU with an average daily census of 10

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal care at Prisma Health Richland, Prisma Health Baptist Medical Center and Lexington Medical Center
• Provide in-house coverage during the day
• Provide Neonatologist back-up from home for experienced NNPs providing in-house overnight coverage
• Provide daytime in-house coverage and remote call coverage after hours at Lexington Medical Center
