Per Diem Neonatologist Opportunity Available in Alexandria, LA.

Position Outline

Pediatrix Medical Group, in partnership with Rapides Women’s and Children’s Hospital (RWCH), is seeking dedicated and compassionate Neonatologists to join our growing team in Alexandria, Louisiana on a per diem basis. The role includes full‑time providers on a 7‑on/7‑off schedule and 24/7 in‑house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage. Home call for Neonatologists after rounds.

Qualifications

• Active LA license or IMLC license preferred
• Board Certification in Neonatology required
• A minimum of 1‑year post‑fellowship clinical experience required
• Recent Neonatologist experience required (within the past 12 months)

Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix covers travel expenses (round‑trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. The position also covers malpractice insurance for this W‑2 per diem role.
