Neonatologist

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with Queens Hospital Center in Jamaica, New York City, is seeking a full-time Neonatologist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing Division of Neonatal Medicine within the Department of Pediatrics, serving a diverse community in Southern Queens. The position involves contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team in a busy Level 3 NICU, with ample opportunities for program development and academic study.

Responsibilities

• Program development and academic study in antibiotic and medication stewardship
• Program development and academic study in quality of care collaborative
• Program development and academic study in developmental care
• Program development and academic study in POC ultrasound
• Program development and academic study in various patient safety initiatives and teaching
• Addressing early childhood development and the mother-baby couplet in the newborn service, continuing into outpatient care

Compensation

• Compensation range from $229,000 to $241,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
• Salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits

Requirements

• Completed a Neonatal Fellowship
• BC/BE in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine
• Valid New York State License
