Practice Info
- The Forsyth Winston Salem practice is a Level III NICU providing comprehensive critical care services for the region's most vulnerable newborns
- More than 750 NICU admissions annually with an average daily census (ADC) exceeding 32 infants
- Approximately 4,500 deliveries annually
- Dedicated neonatal transport team
- Advanced NICU services include Bubble CPAP, high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, and therapeutic hypothermia (cooling)
- Family-centered care model
- Novant Forsyth practice is part of a well-established neonatology group of 15 neonatologists providing care across four NICUs and five Level I hospitals throughout the region
- Forsyth Medical Center is a 921-bed tertiary care hospital and the largest facility within the Novant Health system
