Neonatologist

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a skilled Neonatologist to join their established NICU team at University Medical Center Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX. The position focuses on providing comprehensive medical care to neonates in a Level IV NICU, managing critically ill newborns, and engaging in clinical documentation and quality improvement initiatives.

Practice Info

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to neonates in a Level IV NICU
• Manage critically ill newborns, including ventilator management and advanced procedures
• Collaborate with obstetrics, pediatrics, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Engage in clinical documentation, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
• Provide education and support to families
• Participate in call rotation and NICU coverage schedule
