Neonatologist

Join Pediatrix Medical Group at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas as a Per Diem Neonatologist. This role involves providing high-acuity neonatal care in a Level IV NICU, including managing frequent ventilation and body cooling. We are seeking a Board Certified physician with at least two years of Level III NICU experience to contribute to our specialized team.

Practice Info

• Practice in Las Vegas at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center
• Level IV NICU with 72 beds; average daily census is 60
• Neonatal ECMO, iNO, Frequent Ventilation (Jet and Oscillator) and Body Cooling
• High Acuity patient population

Responsibilities

• 24 Hour Inhouse Shifts
• Delivery Room Attendance
• Admissions
• Care for Level III type Intubated Patients

Compensation

• The pay for this position is $150 /hour
• Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice
• We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Minimum of 2 Years Experience in Level III NICU or Above
• Candidates are NOT required to have ECMO experience (never solo on shift)
• Active NV License or IMLC Compact Eligible
• Available to Offer Ongoing Availability
