Dynamic Neonatologist Opportunity with Guaranteed First Year Bonus!
Responsibilities
- Recruit for a Neonatologist in a well-respected neonatology practice at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS.
- Participate in an evolving QI team‑based opportunity.
- Provide comprehensive services except ECMO and heart surgery in a Level‑III, 80‑bed NICU.
- Work with a collaborative, 8‑physician practice that includes two neonatologists on call until 4 pm and a flexible schedule with strong NNP support.
- Assist in 24‑hour in‑house coverage with a team of 1 NEO and 2 NNPs; no single‑person coverage in the evening.
- Handle high acuity environment with 6,000 deliveries annually, 1,200 admissions in intensive and special care units, and an average daily census of 60.
- Perform high‑volume procedures such as lumbar punctures, lines, and transfers from Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Western Kansas.
- Support residents and nurse practitioners during both day and night shifts.
- Participate in quality improvement and research opportunities affiliated with the KU School of Medicine – Wichita.
- Encourage J1 visa candidates.

- Competitive compensation with a starting salary of $275,000 and annual increases.
