Position Overview
Pediatrix Neonatology of Houston, an affiliate of Pediatrix Medical Group, is seeking an outstanding Neonatologist to join our growing practice at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood Hospital.
Responsibilities
- 24 bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with an average daily census of 13 babies
- Over 1,900 deliveries per year; 300 NICU admissions per year
- A positive and collaborative environment facilitated by a very supportive relationship between physicians and APRNs
- 24/7 NNP coverage with on-call neonatologist at night
- Use of a multidisciplinary team approach in managing clinical care
- Leadership, policy development, mentoring, education, and quality improvement opportunities
- Strong, APRN-led Leadership Team
- Active research program involved in multiple active clinical trials and multi-site collaborations
- Sign-On bonus and relocation assistance
Qualifications
Board certification (BE/BC) in Neonatology.
