Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a per diem Neonatologist to join their experienced team at Hurley Children's Hospital in Flint, Michigan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a Level III NICU, contributing to a practice with strong academic affiliations and impressive quality metrics. The position is ideal for a Board Certified Neonatologist with recent clinical experience looking for a flexible work arrangement.

Practice Info

• Practice located at Hurley Children's Hospital in Flint, Michigan.
• 44-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of approximately 30 patients.
• A regional referral center offering a full range of pediatric sub-specialties.
• Residency programs (OB, pediatrics, family medicine) rotate through the facility.
• 24/7 in-house pediatric residents.
• Close working relationship with the University of Michigan and Wayne State, participating in VON with impressive quality metric comparisons.

Responsibilities

• Attending high-risk deliveries.
• Assessing critically ill neonates.
• Administering comprehensive patient care.

Compensation

• Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.
• We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.

Requirements

• Active MI license or IMLC license preferred.
• Board Certification in Neonatology required.
• A minimum of 1-year post-fellowship clinical experience required.
• Recent Neonatologist experience required (within the past 12 months).
