Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join their nationally recognized team at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a brand-new Level II NICU, supported by an established regional network. The role offers a collaborative care model and the chance to shape the future of neonatal care in Central Florida, starting in summer 2026.
Practice Info
- Brand new Level II NICU designed for growth
- Projected NICU average daily census of 5-6 by year-end
- Newborn nursery ADC of 6-7
- Approximately 2,000 annual deliveries
- Support from Pediatrix's flagship Level IV NICU at Winnie Palmer Hospital (142 beds)
- Collaborative care model with Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs), and Pediatric Hospitalists

Shift & Schedule
- 10-13 shifts (24-hour) per month
- Combined in-house daytime and on-call evenings/weekends model
- On-call response time: within 30 minutes
- NNP staffing: 24-hour shifts
