POSITION SUMMARY

The Neonatologist will join a well‑established group of neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists, providing comprehensive, family‑centered care across the system. The clinical commitment spans both locations for a total of 0.6–1.0 FTE, offering flexibility in scheduling and a supportive, team‑based care model.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

  • Provide inpatient clinical care in NICU, Special Care Nursery, and Well Baby Nursery.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care coordination, and family communication.
  • Collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver evidence‑based neonatal care.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives across the neonatal service.
  • Engage in teaching of residents and medical students, as appropriate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: MD or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Experience: Commitment to high‑quality clinical care, teamwork, and serving diverse patient populations.

COMPENSATION

Compensation range: $250,482 to $308,364. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as clinical FTE, qualifications, experience, education, board certifications, specialty, training, and scope of practice.
