Position Summary
The Neonatologist will join a well-established group of neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists who provide comprehensive, family-centered care across the system. The clinical commitment spans both locations for a total of 0.6–1.0 FTE, offering flexibility in scheduling and a supportive, team-based care model. Faculty appointment at Boston University School of Medicine is available, commensurate with experience, within our academic and clinical partnership.

- 18-bed Level III NICU at Boston Medical Center – Brighton
- 10-bed Special Care Nursery and Well Baby Nursery at Boston Medical Center – South

Essential Responsibilities / Duties
- Provide inpatient clinical care in the NICU, Special Care Nursery, and Well Baby Nursery.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care coordination, and family communication.
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver evidence-based neonatal care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives across the neonatal service.
- Engage in teaching of residents and medical students, as appropriate.
Education
No specific requirement listed beyond MD or equivalent degree.
Job Requirements
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Compensation
Range: $250,482 to $308,364 based on FTE, qualifications, and experience. Incentive compensation may be discussed during the interview.
