Neonatologist

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Neonatologist for a per diem opportunity at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA. This role involves providing exceptional clinical care in an award-winning hospital setting. The position offers a chance to work in a respected neonatology practice within a vibrant college city.

Practice Info

• 20 NICU beds with 6 overflow beds
• Daily census averages 16-19 with over 300 annual admissions
• Level-III NICU dedicated to high acuity babies
• Experienced team of NNPs
• On-site sub-specialties include pediatric ID, neurology, cardiology, pulmonary, ophthalmology, adult urology, ENT, and dermatology
• Consultants for other specialties are at CHOA in Atlanta

• Provide per diem coverage at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center

Shift & Schedule

• 24 hours round plus call
• Can cover 7 days in a row (schedule permitting)

Requirements

• Board Certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
• Active GA license or IMLC required
