Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neonatologist to its team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, a Level I Trauma Center located in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and teach students, residents and sub-specialty residents in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and in the Delivery room.
• Make rounds with the staff on the wards and participate in inpatient neonatal consults.
• Supervise and participate in all patient care responsibilities.
• Supervise all patient care activities in the NICU, as well as the care of all sick newborns in labor and delivery.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Active New York State Medical License.

Wages and Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $250,000* (board eligible) or $260,000* (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $330,520** (board eligible) and $341,520** (board certified), including baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors.

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• 401(k) Company Contribution: Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings, with no employee match required; after one year of service, an additional 7% company contribution is provided, also with no employee match required.
