Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem)

Overview

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced, certified NNP for per diem coverage at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL.

Responsibilities

• Work in a brand new Level II NICU at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital (Clermont, FL) with a collaborative care model including Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs), and Pediatric Hospitalists.
• Provide per diem neonatal nurse practitioner coverage with 24-hour in-house shifts.
• Receive support from Pediatrix’s flagship Level IV NICU at Winnie Palmer Hospital (142 beds).
• Contribute to the NICU team with a projected NICU average daily census of 5–6 by year-end.
• Care for newborns in the nursery with an average daily census of 6–7.
• Assist with an estimated ~2,000 annual deliveries.

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
• Florida license required
